There is no direct connection between ALG Airport and ALG city centre. There is an Algiers Metro construction plan that was planned to be opened in 2010, but just one part has been launched (the part connecting the city with the airport hasn’t), it goes through the following stops in Algiers city centre: Tafourah – Grande Poste, Khelifa Boukhalfa, 1er Mai, Aïssat Idir, Hamma, Jardin d’essai, Les Fusillés, Cité Amirouche, Cité Mer et Soleil and Haï El Badr.
